"Evan Reese, a resident of Plymouth, died last evening, aged 53 years, after a short illness. The deceased was a native of Wales and a shoemaker by trade. He was an active Christian and always took a lively interest in church work. He is survived by a wife and two sons - James, a student at Marietta College, Ohio, and John, clerk at the Dodson colliery of the Plymouth Coal Co." Article in 13 Dec 1895 issue, Page 6. "In the report of the death of Evan J. Reese, his age should have been 59 years. He is survived by four children, James, John, Sarah and Hannah. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at 2:30. Services will be conducted by Rev. W.R. Evans. Interment in Shawnee Cemetery." Nancy Cook Pasadena, MD, USA
