I am sure that we all wish Kim every success in rebuilding her useful site. If you can help Kim with old photos etc please contact Kim directly at kim.bewick@ntlworld.com From: "Kim Bewick" <kim.bewick@ntlworld.com> Unfortunately the UK Schools site is no more. When the Twin Towers went down on the 11th September so did my site as it was hosted by two gentlemen who worked from there. Sadly one of them is now presumed dead. The old site URL is still going so for now I'm putting everything I have back on there www.schoolphotos.f2s.com I would appreciate it if you could put word out that I am desperate for people to send me their photographs again. Having been there for about eight weeks now, it is time to evaluate my Glamorgan Families site: < <A HREF="http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~alwyn/morg.htm">http://frepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~alwyn/morg.htm</A>> What do list members think? Should it stay? Should it be deleted? Is there anything that could be done to encourage more people to post details on it? Are there any recomendations for improving it? etc. My personal feeling is that the site has failed, because there are not enough inputs to make it worth searching for possible common research interests. I am tempted to pull the plug on it, but any suggestions on making it a *must use* site before I do so will be welcome. Regards Alwyn

Hi Genealogy and History Friends My name is Doug McLean and I live in Australia. I am attempting to update my website relating to Genealogy and Family History Societies with Web Sites to date I have a reasonable comprehensive list of Australian, English and Scottish Societies listed, however there appears to be a weakness in my IRISH and WELSH section ref http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Canyon/6387/wales.html I would appreciate you reviewing my page and if possible to provide me with the URL's of societies in Ireland and Wales which could be added to my reference page. If you have an interest in the surnames: McLean, McCracken, Buncle or Spicer it could be worth your while to have a look at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Canyon/6387 and use the Clan McLean search engine near the bottom of the page.
