Paula, I agree. Also have a picture taken from my grandmothers trunk. My grandmother's name Minnie Lee Masters Waldrop. There is a picture of a lady in her trunk taken about the mid 1840s, it tin typed. On the back is written Minnie Masters. Now, am I to assume this is her grandmother on her Paternal side. It's signed the same name as hers , Minnie and her maiden name, Masters. Could she be my grandmother's grandmother, we know who mother is, or could it be one of her Masters's aunt. I want to assume it is is her grandmother, but what If I enter it and it is one of her Master's Uncle's wives. My Aunt Louise said the picture of the lady is her mama's grandmother. Aunt Louise was 94 years old then. So what do I do, to keep it honest.......This possibly could be my grandmother's grandmother. My point, to write on back of every picture you have and intend to pass down, write how they are related to. I have another hundred year old picture. Saying,"This is my grandmother." But who is......This is My???? You all may not have these problems. But I do. Like I find Green Berry, Benjamin and Aisley Waldrop in Gewinnette County, Georgia. and along the with them Back to the drawing board. Thanks for all the help you all have givem me. Sandra "Bodi"...........Now who is Bodi ???
