Joanne, My William M. Waldrop/Waldrep was born Feb. 12, 1816. I don't have a clue where he was born. One census says TN, another says N.C. and another says GA. He married Sarah Ann Watson in 1840, but I don't know where. Sarah Ann was b. in AL so they probably married in AL. They had 9 children of which William Samuel was the youngest, born Feb. 12, 1869 in AL. According to William S.'s family bible, William M.'s father was George Waldroup who married Rhoda Brooks.
