I have asked this same question before, but not in about a year. Does anyone have an idea about the nickname "Kitty" (Kitty Waldrop) and from what name that it was a derivation? I have had this name with the tombstone in my files for 25 plus years. By the size of the grave it is most likely a child. I am almost assured that she is a descendent of either Robert or Joseph Waldrop who came to Alabama and Jefferson County in 1818 from S.C. Gene HycheGet more from the Web.
