My grandfather, LESTER WALDROP was born in Knox County, TN 1915; d. 1974 My g/g grandfather, HAYDE WALDROP of TN; d.1918 My g/g/g grandfather was BILLY (William ?) Hi, I think the info that was posted refers to my Waldrop line but not sure. I think that Wm Michael Waldrop was married to a Cochran who supposedly had Indian blood. The family came from Henderson Co NC to Cherokee Co NC and then to Polk and Monroe Cos TN. Please try to post more information so that we can assist you in your search.
