Jenny, Please, when you are able send me you ancestors names and location and I will keep them in my file. I wish we could make a connection, I know the thrill of finding one of many missing links. It took me nine years of researching my great grandpapa and I just found him about three weeks ago in the Mobile Register Newspaper, ambushed and killed August 13, 1870. So, you might want to get started, Trust me "It ain't no piece of cake" , this thing called Genealogy. When I first started, almost ten years ago, I had my great grand papa Joseph Ryan Waldrop related to almost every Waldrop in the South East. I know I ran many people crazy by posting and posting, but it worked a few years ago all the information started pouring in. I have not yet stopped my research on the Waldrops for I have many generations to find. When you can, gather your information up and send it to me and I will see if I can share with you the directions I took. My advice to you is...go to your mother now with a note book and don't wait for her to copy all the information. I've had information slip thru my hands because I thought I had plenty of time with my relatives. I've had Aunts and Great Aunts that took to the grave so much of the information that is now costing me money and time. :o( So don't do as I did, get yourself a note book and start copying while you know where it is.
