    1. [WALDROP] Families traveling by Wagon Trains.
    2. Does anyone have written or oral information about their ancestors who traveled with other families while moving towards Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi then on to Texas. Were there any family stories of Wagon Trains and families they traveled with. Waldrops left North Carolina/South Carolina came thru Georgia, crossed over to Alabama and in to Mississippi and settled in DeSoto, Mississippi. They were in Gwennette and Harris Counties Georgia 1820-1840s. Some of the Families were Waldrop, Thornton , Heards and Eavenson. It appears they traveled together and also married one another. Other family members I am researching that might have traveled in the same Wagon Trains. Waldrop, Williford, Woulard, Baxter, Deas, Dearman, Loper, McKenzie, McBride, Aldridge, Livermans, White, Higgingbotham, Heard, Thornton, Eavenson, Buckalew, Masters, Richardsons, Colsons, Grimes, McIIwains., Longs, Coopers, Platts, Chasons, Thomas, Alexanders. These families were in the same area about the same time and I am researching to see if they came to the same areas .These families married among themselves. Anyone have any information how their family traveled and arrived to where they settled down and who they might have traveled with. Thanks for any help. Sandra
