Hi, I've enjoyed looking at the Baxter's pictures on Ancientfaces- My great grandmother Mary Elizabeth Woulard ( daughter of Benjamin F.(Sr.)and Unity Williford Woulard of Eret and State Line Mississippi) ., was William Young Moss be fore he married Sabrina. She went on to marry Potolemy Buckalew, they had two children Oliver L. Buckalew and Dora Buckalew. (Mrs. Swan Johnson) Then she married Masters,they had two children Minnie Lee Masters Born 1874 she married James Harry Waldrop. (Grandson of J. W. Baxter) Fannie Louise Masters 1878 she married first Joe Barrett the Sweeting, they had two sons Robert and Oliver (Ollie) Sweeting. My papa was born inHiwanne, Mississipp, but was raised iin Vinegar Bend, Alabama, Washington County. He was the great grandson of J. W. Baxter and Charity Elizabeth Williford Baxter. J. W. was the brother ow William Noble Baxter and Able. My gr gr grandparents are J. W. Baxter Born 1808 Georgia and Charity Elizabeth Williford Born 1808 in Georgia. They lived in Washington County Alabama, In Escatawpa. J. W. and Chairty Elizabeth Williford Baxter Sarah Baxter married Dr. Joseph Ryan Waldrop)( married 12/7/1867 ) Dr. Waldrop was State Rep. of Washington County 1868-70, he was ambushed and killed August 13, 1870 in Escatawpa, Alabama, Washington County.
