Member of Sons of American Revolution, Sons of the Confederacy, Civil Air Patrol, Boys Scouts, Board Member of Shekinah Ministries, TX. State Guard History Degree, University of TX, Criminology Degree from Sam Houston University, Ordained Minister of Seventh Day Ministries. Preceded in death by Mother: Pauline Pagan. Survived by wife of 43 years, Peggy, of Mesquite; son: Kelly Acker & wife, Cathy, of Mesquite; grandchildren: Joshua, Jonathan, Justin, Jacob & Lauren Acker; half sisters: Mary & Linda Sue; brother: Rex Acker; niece: Kimberly; great nephew: Alexander.
