    2. Some of you may remember Noble Acker who did lots of Waldrop research 15 or 20 years ago. This is his nephew. ACKER W.L. (Lou) ACKER, born March 24, 1937, in Amarillo, TX, passed away March 17, 2002, Dallas, TX. Member of Sons of American Revolution, Sons of the Confederacy, Civil Air Patrol, Boys Scouts, Board Member of Shekinah Ministries, TX. State Guard History Degree, University of TX, Criminology Degree from Sam Houston University, Ordained Minister of Seventh Day Ministries. Preceded in death by Mother: Pauline Pagan. Survived by wife of 43 years, Peggy, of Mesquite; son: Kelly Acker & wife, Cathy, of Mesquite; grandchildren: Joshua, Jonathan, Justin, Jacob & Lauren Acker; half sisters: Mary & Linda Sue; brother: Rex Acker; niece: Kimberly; great nephew: Alexander. The Family will receive friends 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, Mar. 19, 2002 at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 12 Noon, Wednesday, March 20, 2002, Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home Chapel.
