Thanks Donna, When my sister was traveling and going in and out of Ireland and Scottland on business. She ran into the name Waldrop many times. She checked the telephone book and there were many Waldrop. You remember when people used to send out the Coart of Arms? I remember getting one and Waldrop was listed as a Scottish. This is why I am checking with the Waldrops to see what they have heard. My maternal great great mother was a McBryde and she married a McKenzie. One would assume her parents and his came from Scottland or Ireland. But so far we have gone back several generation and we just now getting back to North and South Carolina. Thanks for your help.
