I have found reference to the following: "In 1853, a group of Dutch people came to Smith Co MS from South Carolina, making their first settlement at the present site of Trenton. They were members of the Luthern Church, and brought with them a young preacher. Rev. Waldrop, who was unmarried." Does anyone have any idea who this Rev. Waldrop was?
