Hello, I'm new to your list. I'm looking for any information on the family in the attached file. I have letters written in the 1890-1900 time period from Rulina to her brother and my great grandfather George Washington Steorts in West Virginia. Would like to know when they settled in Washington State and any other information. They left Jane Lew, Lewis Co. (W)VA in late 1850s. Pictures would be too much to hope for (?). The letters talked about harvest time and sound like the family had been there for some time. Wonder how large was the farm? Son Will (for William?) married late and had no children. Newton Maxwell Bott had at least 3 children. He may have been a deputy sheriff, perhaps in another county, when he was a young man. I'd appreciate any information. Thanks. Linda Steorts Kaufman P. O.
