    3. Ellensburg Daily Record (State of Washington) 5/25/1986 Pg. 11 JD COLCLASURE J.D. Colclasure, 65, of South Cle Elum, died Sunday May 25 at his home. He was born Oct. 7, 1920, at Clarksville, Ark. to James and Mary Colclasure. He attended school in Arkansas and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the U.S.S. Grant during World War II. On Nov. 20, 1944, he and Mary Lou Getz were married in Seattle. After his discharge from the Navy, they moved to Yakima, where he attended J.M. Perry trade school, learning auto body repair. After he completed his training, they moved to Cle Elum, where he went to work for Mosher-Nupp Body Shop for several years. He then went into business for himself, operating the Cle Clum Body Shop until his health caused him to retire. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the out-of-doors. He was a member of the V.F.W. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Colclasure, of South Cle Elum; three daughters, Mrs. Lou (Judy) Murray of College Place, Mrs. Ed (Karen) Denn of Federal Way and Mrs. Jim (Lynda) Lien of Granite Falls; a son Jim Colclasure of Sunnyside; 11 grandchildren, Louie, Jamie, Jaley, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Julie, Dusty, Buffy, Lee, Alyssa and Landon; two sisters, Opal Hamilton of Santa Rosa, CA, and Evelyn Ferguson of Hot Springs, Ark; his mother-in-law, Mary Getz, of Cle Elum, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cle Elum. Rev. Carl Busse will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the V.F.W. and the American Legion Posts of Cle Elum and Roslyn. The family suggests memorials be made to the South Cle Elum Fire Dept.
