Hello listers I am new to this list, so I want to send a short query to start. My BOSONE family lived in Roslyn. My grandfather Francesco BOSONE, grandmother Catterina (SANDRI) BOSONE, my father Giuseppe "Joe" BOSONE, my uncle Pietro "Pete" BOSONE lived in Roslyn, all of the male family members worked in the coal mines. My father was quite active in the UMWA, and was not very popular with the mine management, He was eventually blackballed from working in the Roslyn/CleElum mines. My grandfather left the family in 1911, and we do not know where he went. We can't find where he died, or what he did prior to his death after leaving Roslyn. My uncle Pete married Mary AVENATTI and stayed in Roslyn until his death, Pete and Mary had two children, Elinora and Frank. Elinora married William OZANICH and Frank married Dorothy OWENS. The other member of the family was my aunt Catterina (BOSONE) "Katie" BERTOLOTTI. She was married to Joe BERTOLOTTI and lived on a dairy farm out of CleElum. Joe and Katie had two children, Araldo "Herald" and Mabel. If anyone has any information on any of the above, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you very much. Joseph R.
