Hello All, I am new to this list (have only just found it). I am hoping someone can help me, as I have been looking for these folk for a long time and we hope to visit this area in June/July. On our family tree we have HARRY JOHNSON born in Lavendon, England 1856 who travelled to U.S.A. in the late 1870's. Harry settled in ELLENSBURG, marrying and later inheriting his wife's family's farm in Ellensburg. Harry had a son CECIL JOHNSON born February 1892. Cecil married 3 times, the 3rd time to Beulah ? We have no other information on these wives. Cecil we believe remained in the Ellensburg area all his life. Cecil in turn had a son WILLARD JOHNSON (not sure from which marriage) We do know that WILLARD was working in Alaska on a Hydro Electric Project in 1960. Willard had a son BILL JOHNSON (presumably William) This is all we know on this family except in 1980 when we were living in Kaikohe (New Zealand) we had a visit from a CAROL WILLIAMS who was somehow related to this family. Unfortunately I do not have an address or details, but she would have been appx. 20years. She has probably married by now. I do hope someone can help me as I am getting desperate to find some descendants of these JOHNSONS before we come over to U.S.A. Any ideas where I could get help would also be most welcome.
