    3. There is info in the publication that the Kittitas County Genealogical Society put together of the school census records of Kittitas County, Washington. South Cle Elum/Pressey District # 22 On page 142 there is I. or J. Whitehouse with children: David age 19 in 1896, Arthur age 10/26 in 1896 and Lilly age 8/25 in 1896. No entries for other dates. Roslyn School District # 24 On page 151 there is a Thomas Booth with children: Thomas (starting with age 17 in 1898 and ending with age 18/0 in 1900), John (starting with age 12 and ending with age 14/0 in 1900), Alice (starting with age14 in 1898 and ending with age 15 in 1899, and Myrtle Whitehouse (starting with age 7 in 1898 and ending with age 9/32 in 1900). on page 185 there is a James Sample with children: Patience age 6 in 1899, Liola Whitehouse age 11 in 1898, and Eliza Whitehouse age 12 in 1899. Roza School District #49 On page 276 there is Isaiah & Miriam Whitehouse with children: Arthur G. (starting with age 11 in 1897 and ending with age 14/5 in 1900), Lilly D. (starting with age 9 in 1897 and ending with age 12/5 in 1900), Minnie M, (starting with age 5 in 1897 and ending with age 8/5 in 1900) and D.J.? age 20 in 1897. I am not sure if these people fit in the families in question but at least this is the source that I checked. At least the one that jumps off the page for me is Isaiah and Mariam who are DEFINATELY part of the family. James Sample with daughter Patience is mine (though I'm not sure who the Whitehouse children he "inherited" belong to. I've been trying to place David and now I am pretty sure he belongs with Isaiah. This is GREAT stuff and I thank you SO much! I surely did not expect so much good info so quickly! I have already searched Cle Elum 1900 (where I found David living in a boardinghouse working as a blacksmith) and Roslyn, but was hoping to narrow Roza down enough to not have to search the entire county. It certainly appears by the listing below that Isaiah and Mariam were still in the area in 1900. Hopefully they stuck around long enough to be indexed on the census. >Roza School District #49 >On page 276 there is Isaiah & Miriam Whitehouse with children: Arthur G. >(starting >with age 11 in 1897 and ending with age 14/5 in 1900), Lilly D.
