Eisenheim Dorothy D. Eisenheim Passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on April 10, 2004. She was born on February 11, 1923 in Hermansville, Minnesota. and was the second oldest of 13 children. She married Harold Eisenheim on September 4, 1948 and they spent their honeymoon traveling to their new home in Seattle. Her family and Catholic faith sustained her throughout her lifetime. Dorothy and Harold raised seven children. She was a founding member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. As a concerned parent of her children's spiritual and academic development, she sent all seven children to St. Matthew's Parochial School and Blanchet High School. She enjoyed attending all of her children and grandchildren's sports games and a multitude of other activities. She loved to travel to Michigan and Wisconsin to visit with her extensive family. She enjoyed a memorable trip to Israel with her sister Laurie. She loved to play cards with her wonderful friends. Her home was ! always filled with laughter and the sounds of children playing. After raising her children. Dorothy worked at Park Ridge Care Center and Fircrest School in Shoreline, retiring at the age of 76. She was a member of the Virginia Mason Foundation supporting diabetes research. Dorothy will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her generosity, caring for others, her sense of humor and her energetic spirit. She is survived by her husband, Harold and seven children. Karen Ware, Edmonds, Rick Eisenheim, Upland, California, Pamela Eisenheim, Everett, David (Kathy) Eisenheim, Yakima, Michael Eisenheim, Seattle, Mary (Will) Rawlings, Tacoma, and Sallie (John) Warren, Bothell. She is also survived by six grandchildren who brought her great joy, Jennifer Ware, Marlayna Cherisse, Kevin Warren, Shane Warren, Gabriel Rawlings and Catherine Rose Rawlings. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott David, her beloved parents, four brothers and two sisters. Her family wishes to thank Virginia Mason Hospital for 55 years of care. Very special thanks to Dr. Mindy Cooper and her entire staff, Virginia Mason Dialysis Center, Lake City Dialysis Center and Providence Hospice of Seattle for their compassionate and skilled care. A visitation and rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 14th, from 3-8PM, at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Avenue North Seattle, 98133, (206) 362-5200. A celebration of life mass will be held on Thursday, April 15th, at 11AM, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1240 Northeast 127th, Seattle, (206)363-6767 with a reception following.
