So, I didn't post US Census data on this family (except the 1920 to show daughters). There are three posted family trees containing Helen (Nellie) Kelly, all three are private so you'd have to contact the owner. Smith on 17 Oct 1958 in Seattle: http://media.digitalarchives.wa.gov/WA.Media/jpeg/8BD7C361CF5504368A1C36D3005CB4B5_1.jpg The 1920 Census of Seattle, King Co, enumerated on 14 January, owning at 2302 15th Avenue South Henry Fogelquist, age 32(overwritten), born in Minnesota to both parents born in Sweden, Fireman/City Helen, age 32, born in Scotland, immigrated in 1910/Naturalized (Until 1922 with the passage of the Married Woman's Act, the female spouse took the same citizenship status as her husband. US born females became aliens if they married an alien). Alice May, age 3 3/12 (based on enumeration date, born about September/October 1916). Helen M, age 1 1/12 (born about Nov/Dec 1918). ---Washington Births: Female born 30 Oct 1916 in King to above parents. Female born 7 Dec 1918 in King to above parents. So, using the enumeration date often helps find a close date of birth if one isn't known...but I found it to be wrong also. Social Security Death Index: Alice M. Japar, born 30 Oct 1916, died 20 May 1998, "last residence:" Bothell, Snohomish County, WA. --The "last residence" on the SSDI is NOT NECESSARILY where a person had lived or died. However, she is shown at 23708 Locust Way, Unit 19a, Bothell, in 1992. And a Seattle address (date not shown) Birchwood Ave P59. --The 1960 Seattle City Directory shows Thadeus T (Alice M) Sergt Police Department, home: 4802 Aurora. Also listed at that address is Richard A, Student. --Richard Alan Japar is still living in the area as of Nov 2011. I can forward address if desired.
