He was born here, the son of Earl and Mary Gause. A graduate of West Farmington High School, he was a veteran of World War II. Guase was emloyed as a mechanic by United Air Lines since 1951. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Helen Gause; two sons; four daughters; six sisters, Marion Hillier, Betty Robinson and Dorothy Gause, all of West Farmington, Lois Lew of Bristol, Ruth Rogers of Windham, Pat Black of Remington, Ind.; two brothers, William of West Farmington, Russell of Saginaw, Michigan. The family requests material tributes take form of contributions to the Lutheran Bible Translators in care of Zion Lutheran Church, Auburn, Washington or Reconstructive Cardio Research, in care of Providence Medical Center, Seattle, Washington.
