The 1940 Census was not available in 2007: The 1940 Census of Seattle, King Co, WA William Hamrick, age 32(1907/1908), Missouri, Theatre Manager Jevendolyn(as written/transcribed) Hamrick, age 28(1911/1912), born in Nebraska, William, 5, WA Ronald, 2, WA I've seen Jevendolyn also as Gwendolyn. I find a marriage on 30 Nov 1952 in Stevens County of a Gwen L. Hamrick, born in Norfolk, Nebraska, age 41(1911) to a Dennis Thomas Murphy, age 40, of Minnesota. http://search.ancestry.com/iexec?htx=View&r=an&dbid=2378&iid=85662520_ec156877-ca40-4274-8293-a9ee2ca4877f&fn=Gwen L&ln=Hamrick&st=d&ssrc=&pid=3100458 The SSDI shows a Gwen Murphy, born 14 Oct 1911, died Oct 1986, "last residence:" Seattle, WA The WA Death Index shows Gwendolyn L. Murphy, death on 17 Oct 1986 in Seattle. --A Gwen Murphy, born 14 Oct 1912 found living at12345 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, two separate apartment numbers, no date of residency. Also residing there was a Dennis T. Murphy, 6 July 1912. There is a marriage in Seattle on 18 July 1952 between a William Thomas Hamrick and Alma A.
