Preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle of 55 years and second wife, Dorothy of 12 years. Graduated Roosevelt High School in 1929. Retired after 45 years at Kenworth Motor Truck Co. and Pacific Car & Foundry. Member of University Chapter 32 Royal Arch Masons (High Priest), Nile Temple Shriners and Seattle Amateur Radio Club (K7KPC). Survived by daughters, Karen VandeKamp (John) and Kathryn Tomtan (Paul), grandchildren, Paula Quigg (Dale), Bill Follett (Jennifer), Brent Tomtan (Amy) and Brenda Brayman (Brook) and eight great-grandchildren.
