Amsberry Funeral services for Carl E. Amsberry, 71, of 2345 41st Avenue East, a linotype operator for The Post-Intelligencer, will be at 10:30 o'clock Thursday in the Home Undertaking Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen. Mr. Amsberry died Sunday while visiting his daughter in Wenatchee. Born in Mason, Nebraska, he came here in 1930 from Wenatchee. He was a member of Local 202, International Typographical Union. Surviving are his wife, Viola; his daughter, Mrs. Eugene Salley, Wenatchee; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Fullington, Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Jim Wardwell, Gladstone, Oregon; three brothers, Roy, Gresham, Oregon, Guy of Blaine and Hugh Amsberry, Camp Sherman, Oregon and five grandchildren. ========== The Seattle Times Thursday, March 7, 1974 Page D16, Column 5 Amsberry, Violet Services will be conducted Friday morning, 10AM, Wenatchee Valley Baptist Church. Amsberry Funeral services for Donald E. Amsberry, 41, of 2345 41st Avenue East, a draftsman for the Pacific Car & Foundry Co., will be at 10:30 o'clock Thursday in the Home Undertaking Co. Burial will be in Washelli. Mr. Amsberry died yesterday in a hospital. Born in Albany, Oregon, he came here 31 years ago. He was in the Army in 1940 and 1941 and in the Navy in 1944 and 1945. Surviving are a son, Ricky Amsberry and his parents, Mrs. And Mrs. Carl E. Amsberry, all of Seattle and a sister, Mrs. Verla Rae Salley, Wenatchee.
