Beaty Funeral services for Edward Edwin Beaty, 74, retired planer knife manufacturer, who died December 31, will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow in the White Funeral Home. Mr. Beaty, born in Kansas, lived for some years in Colorado. In 1898 he went to Alaska, where he spent two years. On returning from Alaska he established a planer knife factory in Seattle, operating his business at 2418 Harbor Avenue Southwest for many years. He died in a hospital after a three months' illness. He is survived by his wife, Harriet, at the family home, 6053 50th Avenue Southwest and a brother, Benjamin Beaty, Golden, Colorado. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
