Kirk, 70, a retired Assistant Treasurer and 40 year employee of the Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Co., who died Sunday of cancer. Born in Marcus, Stevens County, Mr. Kirk came here in 1922, when he entered the University of Washington. He served on the Board of the Puget Sound Blood Center. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of American and the Washington Bankers Association as well as the Seattle Chamber of Commerce. He was a former Chairman of the Seattle Convention and Visitors Bureau and was active in United Way. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Robert W. Copple, Mill Valley, California and Mrs. William R. Hardie, Bellevue and a sister, Mrs. Richard L.
