Smith Funeral services for Philip C. Smith, 79, of 4007 42nd Avenue Southwest, will be at 1 o'clock tomorrow in the Groth Chapel, with burial in Forest Lawn. He died of a heart ailment Saturday in a hospital. Mr. Smith came here from his native Scotland in 1922. He was a boilermaker at the Todd Shipyards Corp., retiring in 1951. He was a member of the Masons in Scotland and the Eagles. Surviving are three sons, James and Alex, both of Seattle and Philip Smith, Renton and two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Maxwell and Mrs. William Barnet, all of Seattle.
