Penny Funeral Arranged Funeral services for Alexander E. Penny, 60 years old, were set for this afternoon at the Bonney Watson Funeral Parlors, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Park. Mr. Penny, who lived at 717 Belmont Avenue North, died Tuesday. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Austa Penny; two brothers, Charles of Modesto, California and Albert of Pasadena, California and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie McGowa and Mrs. Mollie Porter of Oakland, California. Mr. Penny was a Mason and a member of the Knights of Pythias. ***** The Seattle Times Thursday, October 6, 1932 Penny - October 4, 1932, Alexander E. Penny, aged 60 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Austa Penny and brother of Charles Penny of Modesto, California, Albert of Pasadena, California and Mrs. Carrie McGowan and Mrs. Mollie Porter of Oakland, California. Member F. & A.M. [Free and Accepted Masons] and K. of P. [Knights of Pythias]. Private services at the parlors of Bonney Watson Company, Friday at 3PM. Interment at Evergreen Park. ***** The Seattle Times Wednesday, February 16, 1921 Rites for Mrs. Inez F. Penny Services for Mrs. Inez F. Penny, 43, Seattle resident for three years, who died at the Virginia Mason Hospital Monday night, will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the parlors of Butterworth & Sons. Rev. Cleveland Kleihauer of the University Christian Church officiating. Hatasu Temple, Daughters of the Nile, will conduct a ritualistic service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Park Cemetery. Mrs. Penny belonged to the University Christian Church; Hope Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Urbana, Illinois and to Urbana Temple, Daughters of the Nile. She leaves a husband, A.E. Penny, 222 East 50th Street; two brothers, C.C. Penny, St. Joseph, Missouri and W.J. Penny, Filer, Idaho and a sister, Mrs. Charles W. Davis, of Michigan. ***** The Seattle Times Wednesday, February 16, 1921 Deaths and Funerals O.E.S., P.S. and D. of Nile, Attention Penny - In this city, February 14, 1921, Inez F. Penny, aged 43 years, beloved wife of A.E. Penny and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mattison and sister of C.C. Mattison of St. Joseph, Missouri and W.J. Fenwick of Filer, Idaho and Mrs. Charles W. Davis of Michigan. A member of Hope Chapter, O.E.S. [Order of the Eastern Star], of Urbana, Illinois and Urbana Temple Pythian Sisters, Daughters of the Nile and University Christian Church. Funeral series will take place tomorrow (Thursday) from the Butterworth Mortuary, 1921 Frist Avenue at 1PM. All friends and members of above societies invited. Interment at Evergreen Park Cemetery. Hatasu Temple, No. 1, Daughters of the Nile, will give the funeral service for Princess Inez Penny at Butterworth's at 1PM, Thursday, February 17. All members requested to attend.
