Gould, 5407 Kensington Place, died yesterday in a hospital. She was the widow of William G. Gould. Mrs. Gould had lived in Seattle forty years. She was born in England. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Alice Irene Gould and a son, Gilbert L. Gould, both of Seattle. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday in the Bonney Watson Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant. ***** The Seattle Daily Times Wednesday, November 6, 1946 Obituaries Arthur H. Gould Taken By Death Private funeral services for Arthur H. Gould, 87 years old, of 420 West Mercer Street, will be held at 1 o'clock Friday in the Butterworth Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant. He died Monday. Mr. Gould, born in Bangor, Maine, had lived here 50 years. He was a retired lumberman former owner of the Gould Lumber Company, now the United States Plywood Corporation. He was Chairman of the Board of the plywood corporation until his retirement ten years ago. Surviving are his widow, Julia; a daughter in law, Mrs. Irene M. Bandy and a nephew, Carl S. Cady, all of Seattle. *****The Seattle Daily Times Monday, January 30, 1950 Mrs. A.H. Gould Taken by Death Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Gould, 85 years old, 420 West Mercer Street, will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Mittelstadt Mortuary, with burial in Mount Pleasant. She died Saturday in her home. Mrs. Gould came to Washington more than 50 years ago with her husband, Arthur H. Gould, founder of the Gould Lumber Company, who died in 1946. She had been a Seattle resident for 40 years. Mrs. Gould, honorary life President of the King County Humane Society, presented the group with one of its first automobiles. She was a life member of the Washington Anti-Vivisection Society and a member of the State Humane Society of Washington. Her son, Clarence W. Bandy, died when a plane piloted by Eddie Hubbard, early day Seattle Alaska mail flyer, plunged into Puget Sound in 1921. Surviving is her daughter in law, Mrs. Irene Bandy. *****The Seattle Daily Times Friday, April 10, 1959 Deaths Gould, Alexander W., 80, 3529 20th Avenue West, April 6. ***** The Seattle Daily Times Sunday, March 5, 1905 Mrs. Gould Dead Mrs. Augusta J. Gould died Friday night at the family home, 3047 Fourteenth Avenue West, at the age of 61 years, of heart disease. She leaves a son, Alexander Gould, a machinist.
