    3. Hi, There isn't such a site in Washington. There is a death index on Ancestry, but only after 1940 (or close to this date) until I believe the 60s or so. In fact, the printed index for the 1900s up to 1940 are almost illegible. There is a card index at the Seattle Public Library which contains most obituaries, but I am not sure what dates are covered. The LDS church has the index on film that can be ordered, and I heard there is a more legible copy available. They also have films for the certificates to avoid paying the $17 charged by the State. I also heard that the Seattle Genealogical Society has a microfiche index, but I have never used it. This is my take, if anyone is aware of other info, I would love to hear it.
