I do appreciate your help though very much. Yes there is a strong possibility that nothing more than a death notice will be published as there seems to be no wife or children connected to Jay. If the LDS can't come up with the missing rolll of WA State Death certs. I will indeed order the cert. through WA state, I also have two other non-French people I am seeking death certs from that same roll that makes me hold out hope that the missing roll of microfilm at my LDS,(they have all the others 1907-1952) will surface in Salt Lake City.
