Edwin MAUDSLIEN Age 78, passed away August 8. Beloved husband of Laila and father of Clifton, David, Paul and Sonia (Brownell). Grandfather of Kristofer, Karsten, Justin, Kelly, Melissa, Scott and Erik. Great grandfather of Thane. Born in Great Falls, Mt. Ed graduated from Cleveland High School and attended the University of Washington. He enjoyed Scouting and climbed Mt. Rainier in 1932. Disabled Navy veteran of WW 11 who was stationed in Pearl Harbor. A clerk in the U.S. Postal Service for 43 years, he retired in 1984 from the airport mail facility. Lifelong member of the Lutheran church beginning with Immanuel in downtown Seattle, moving to St. Marks, Glendale in Burien, and lastly Kent Lutheran. Survived also by a sister, Olga; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by brothers Norman and Oscar. Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 13, at 2 p.m., Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle. (typed as printed)
