They'll need a death/birth date or a close approximation (they have the Washington State death index they can check). The catalog can be searched at http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ An obituary can be request through email at: askalibrarian@secstate.wa.gov Or several other ways to contact them are located online at: http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx Any newspaper microfilm can be requested through a local library using interlibrary loan.
