    3. Hello, I live in Edmonds and 7th Ward Seattle would never have been in Edmonds - Edmonds was always a separate city, in fact a separate county. In looking at the census and comparing it to the www.metrokc.gov site (property) it appears the address was 7100 Taft St. This was in the south end of Seattle near Lake Washington. The house at this address now was built in 1962, so if this is the address, the house has been replaced. Sorry, but I'm beginning to think that about half of what I was told about my family was a good deal fairy stories. Albert was adopted-not by a lawyer but Thomas G. Van Sant, a Decorator. They were in the 1920 Washington census. It is listed as 7 Ward-Seattle, but in trying to find the address, the closest I could come to Gift Street or Lane was Giltner Lane in Edmond, Washington. The cross street address confirms it is possible. Albert's birthdate DOES match the birthdate for Lena Kobelt's brother, but the birth records so far on Ancestry don't include the year he was born If anyone can tell me more about this family or if this is the correct address, I would appreciate it.
