Funeral services were held at the G. W. Scott parlors Monday, conducted by Rev. Joel Vigus, interment following at Mountain View. A large number of friends attended the service as a tribute to the deceased who was highly esteemed by all who knew him. Mr. Prosser was born in Spencer County, Indiana, March 21, 1839. He enlisted in defense of the Union during the Civil War and served three years. He removed to Minnesota when a young man, making that state his home until about 10 years ago when he came to Washington. In 1866 he was united in marriage with Miss Emma Martin, who preceded him in death a few years ago. His surviving children are Mrs. Walter Hart, of Algona; W. P. Prosser, of Chehalis, and two others, non-resident.
