His name was: Guomundur Gislason, but changed it to Laxdal. He married Halldora, and had 5 children all born in Bellingham. He left the family when the children were: 12-13-14-16-and 17. Stories from my Grandmother were that she would see him at Christmas, and he made a living as a Gambler and moved to Seattle. He might have changed his first name also to James... He may have even married again, while still being married to my Great Grandmother..!! Anyone with any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
