The marriage of Judge C. M. Rivers and Miss Ada Shears took place at 7 o’clock Thursday evening, Rev. George A Tewksbury officiating. The ceremony was performed at the residence of the bride’s parents, on Knight Street, and was a very quiet and impressive affair, none but relations and intimate friends of the contracting parties being present. Mr. and Mrs. Rivers left on the 8:45 p. m. train for Portland, where they will spend their honeymoon. After the 15th inst. Mr. and Mrs. Rivers will be at home in their new residence, at the corner of Depot and Duwamish Streets.
