Mustered out June 1, 1865. History of Calhoun County, Michigan; a narrative account of its historical progress, its people, and its principal interests, by Hon. Washington Gardner. If someone has info on this person by accident, I can link him a long way back --16th Century and across the Atlantic by way of New York City, western New York State, and Michigan. If someone has a record of who his birthmother is -- it is NOT Rachael HAIGHT Brower, but his father is Aaron Brower (1807-1872, died Bronson, Branch County, MI)
