William Henry RITTER. (1844-1929). Minerva is the great granddaughter of Alexander NEGLEY of Pittsburgh. Minerva Patterson and William Ritter married on Sept. 4, 1873 in Butler Co., PA Minerva and William had 8 known children, all apparently born in BUTLER CO., PA: 2. William Henry, 1877-1952. William H. m. Catherine A. unknown (b. Abt 1886 in IA). William H. was an insurance agent/broker in Seattle, KING CO.,WA in the 1930 census. William and Catherine had two children: William (b. 1912 in IA) and John (b. 1919 in WA). QUESTIONS: Where did William die? Who were Catherine’s parents? When and where did she die? Can anyone help identify what happened to the two children: William and John? 3. Joseph Lewis, 1879-1944 Joseph Lewis m. Margaret Shannon in 1904 in Butler Co., PA. Margaret (b. 1882 in PA) was the daughter of Orlando Shannons and Rachel Irons. In the 1930 census, Joseph was an insurance agent in Washington state. Joseph and Margaret had one known son: Elias S. Ritter, b. 1912 in WA and d. 2000 in POLK CO., OR. Question: Did Elias ever marry and have childen? IF he married, what was the name of his wife, etc.? Willing to share information.
