Does anyone know the location of the records for the Rasmussen Funeral Home in Seattle? It was listed as an undertaker on a 1936 death certificate. I have already verified that the Rasmussen Funeral Home is not the same as the current Columbia Funeral Home which was owned at one time by a Rasmussen family.

I think they should be found in Ward 8, Dist. 115, but don't find them listed with any residences. Can anyone tell me whether these streets existed at this time or whether they would have been named something else? I really appreciate the help, not living locally and being able to go to the historical society to look this up myself.

I am interested in the history of World War 1, so this cemetery has my special attention. I started to write a book about the soldiers buried here and am looking for information about all those men. I think the book would be a great tribute for those young Americans, who gave their lives for the freedom of my country. In the cemetery are 10 soldiers from King county who’s name you can find at the bottom of this message. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has information on or access to their history, addresses, photos etc … ? Perhaps a Roll of Honour Book of the county was made or something was published in the newspapers of November – December 1918.
