    1. CamWood Obits update; SIGS Catalog online
    2. Super Sleuth
    3. Hello, List Folks - Two news items to share with you... First of all, I've just uploaded to the Snohomish County USGenWeb Project website the latest version of the CamWood Obituary Project Index. This update added 400+ new lines to the data base. The CamWood Obituary Project is a collection of obituaries from the Stanwood-Camano Island area; the newest additions include obituaries from the Family Files archive of the Stanwood Area Historical Society. Members of the CamWood group are happy to provide copies of any obituary found in the index; there is no charge for this service, but people are stongly encouraged to make a donation to the Stanwood Area Historical Museum. The Project's Index Introduction is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wasnohom/camwoodintro.htm<about:blank> The Holdings Catalog of the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is now online. The catalog is topic- and locality-driven and can quickly give an overview of the print and non-print holdings of the Society. The library is located in the historic Humble House in Lynnwood's Heritage Park. Library hours have been expanded to Tuesday, 10-2; Thursday, 10-8 and Saturday, 10-2. The URL to the Library's introduction page is http://rootsweb.com/~wasigs/indexlibe.htm<http://rootsweb.com/~wasigs/indexlibe.htm> Regards, Marge

    1. obituary needed please
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/pBC.2ACE/4120.1 Message Board Post: I recently received an email from an rwspoon chastising me because I did not say please and thank you in my request. Per Spoons request I am asking and not demanding, as Spoon had noted, if someone could please possibly find this obituary for me if they are in the process of looking and maybe think about it. If anyone was offended by my request I do apologize, there was no offense meant. Obituary Needed was only a request and not a demand for anything. My request was only a SS Death Index. I was to the point. I am sorry that I felt that getting to the point was the way to go. I didn't feel my request required any more detail other than his death date. I always send a thank you letter with my reimbursement for time and expendatures when some nice person responds to my request. I am not ungrateful nor am I indifferent to the hardship these requests sometimes inflict on good samaritans. I myself am a volunteer in the RAOGK website and often drive for over an hour to accomadate ! these requests but I dont complain or ask for re-imbursement. I dont complain if someone doesnt say thank you or please because I know people sometimes forget these items and it's nothing I get bent out of shape about like Spoon. So to all of those offended, Please, and thank you for your time. To Spoon, I have no interest in what you have to offer considering your email and I would appreciate it if you would PLEASE stop emailing me with your comments. Thank You! Doug Ehler
