    1. Anderson-Englund-Lehman Mich>Wash 1880>1920
    2. Hello fellow posters: I am looking for connections to a Kenneth Lehman family - which included members named Karl & Johanna (Englund) Anderson ( who married in Osceola County Michigan 1884). I believe Karl was a commercial fisherman who did a lot of fishing in Alaskan waters. I believe the Anderson-Englunds moved from Michigan to Seattle, Washington and were there in 1937, when known relatives visited. Johanna had been dead some years by 1937, but their children were Edwin & wife Hilda, and Edwin's son Lenny. Johanna is my link to this family, I have been searching for years and as yet can not find anyone who makes the connection.  Do you have any of these people in your records? The following family connects to the one above also, but not sure how. I've been told that a Mrs. Lehman, lived by Lake Washington in a town called Kirkland.  She later moved to Seattle.  Their son Kenneth was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers in his late teens, and had a sibling named Leslie. Possibly this Mrs. Lehman is Daisy (had a brother named Edward/Edwin) Mattson. I think Daisy Mattson married someone name Lehman, and thier son was the Kenneth Lehman who played for the Dodgers. Here is hoping someone will recognize these names and be able to connect them! Thanks for looking. Kris (Johnson) Burrill Michigan P.S. My grandmother was Hulda Englund who was a sister to Johanna Englund.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/pBC.2ACE/3873.2.1 Message Board Post: I don't know if You have got any answers yet, but anyway I think Marvin from Seattle was an uncle of Your father. Please find the attached pdf-file for a family-tree. The name Sektnan is as far as I know only used by a single "familybranch", and it comes from the Farm Segtnan in Levanger, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. Segtnan or Setnan is from old norwegian Seti which means a small flat area (plain?) usually a bit elevated (recess, ledge ?) (in old records you may find Sektnan spelled as Sæchnan (Saechnan)) Morten Granseth Norway

    1. John Leonard Crowell
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Crowell Maloy Griffin Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pBC.2ACE/4173 Message Board Post: I am looking for information regarding John Leonard Crowell. He was married to Charlotte Beatrice Lee in Vancouver B.C. July of 1895. They had twins sons on Jan. 21, 1896. One of the sons was my great grandfather Roy Rhoden Crowell. Roy and his brother Robert were raised under the surname Griffin in Bellingham Washington. Charlotte had re-married to Hiram O. Griffin in 1905. She was also married to a George Maloy on April 14, 1898. They lived in Burrard district Vancouver B.C. during the 1901 Canada census, with Beatrice's mother Margaret Lee. What I would like to know is what happened to John Crowell? John Crowell and Beatrice may have lived in Seattle at the time of Roy and Robert's birth, Jan. 21, 1896. It is possible that John Crowell died in Seattle, after July 1895 and before April 1898? Any history regarding him would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Russ

    1. JAYNE Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as the "Old home of W. H. JAYNE, Russel Hill, PA" noting that the photograph was taken in 1907. A note on the back of the photograph also states that the family moved to Davenport, Washington when Stephen O. JAYNE was just about 12 years old. Based on limited research I believe that Stephen O. JAYNE referenced on the back of the photograph was b. 24 Nov 1878 at Russell Hill, PA to parents William H. JAYNE and Augusta P. RUSSELL. It is believed that Stephen O. JAYNE died in Seattle, WA. In 1910 the family of William H. JAYNE was recorded living in Davenport, WA with census records providing the following information: William H. JAYNE, age 62, 2nd marriage 27 years, born PA, parents born PA/NJ, a House Carpenter Sarah Jane JAYNE, wife, age 66, 1st marriage 27 years, 2 children/2 living, born PA, parents born PA Stanley E. JAYNE, son, age 25, born PA, a House Carpenter T. S. JAYNE, son, age 28, born PA, a Clerk In 1910 the family of Steven O. JAYNE was living in Spokane, WA with census records providing the following information: Steven O. JAYNE, age 31, married 5 years, born PA, parents born PA, an Engineer Ethel JAYNE, wife, age 28, married 5 years, 2 children/2 living, born WA, parents born OR/IA Steven JAYNE, son, age 3, born WA Dorothy JAYNE, dau, age 8 months, born WA In 1920 Stephen O. JAYNE and his family were living in Pullman, WA with census records providing the following info: Stephen O. JAYNE, age 41, born PA, parents born PA, a Government Employee Ethel C. JAYNE, wife, age 37, born WA, parents born OR/IA Stephen C. JAYNE, son, age 13, born WA Dorothy JAYNE, dau, age 11, born WA I am hoping to locate someone from this JAYNE Family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to its rightful place within the family. If you are a member of the family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
