    1. WW I Draft Registration cards
    2. Bob Epp
    3. List: Jan Furczyk, then living in King Co., woudl have been of the age to have been required to register for the WW I Draft. We are looking for suggestions to access those cards for his registration. The surname was spelled variously as Fraczyk and Frawszyk, and his given name as John. We are also looking for addtional confirmation of Jan's residence in the Seattle area and/or King Co. We believe that he immigrated at New York in 1901 and was residing in Brooklyn in 1910. His relocation to King Co. probably took place between 1910 and 1917. Bob, in VA

April 13, 1915-March 30, 2006. Our amazing friend and family matriarch, Mildred "Millie" Opal Schmidt Peterson (alias "Silly Millie" or "MOP" as she referred to herself), leaves herself with a legacy embedded with her incredible spirit and enthusiasm for life, and an unconditional love for those she touched. She admitted that she never met anyone in life who wasn't her friend. She cherished her "wonderful friends and family," tending to them lovingly, much like she did her gorgeous flower garden. Millie came from humble beginnings; she was born on a kitchen table in rural Nebraska. She lived through the Great Depression, taught herself to play the piano at a young age, then went on to share her gift with countless students as well as spreading her joyful music at singalongs. She believed in miracles, hard work, and showing random acts of kindness. Wearing special outfits to celebrate each holiday, and adorning her hair with sparkles, she ! was never overlooked. Millie experienced life with a zest of exhilarating exuberance and "positiveness" that greatly encouraged and lifted everyone who knew her. Her incredible spirit in life, which included its share of poverty, storms, conflict and pain was never a burden to her, but rather she rejoiced in the beauty of God's music, laughter, and gardens. Although she will be sorely missed here, she is in eternal peace now. Mildred is survived by her two daughters, Lola and Darla; son-in-law, Chuck; four grandchildren, Brent, Beth, Haley, and Rett, and grandson-in-law, Chris; four great-grandchildren, Colton, Cayley, Chloe, and Lily; and three special nieces, Maureen, Cheryl, and Lea, and their families. Her arrival is being celebrated in heaven by her beloved parents, Bernhard and Lydia; brother, Floyd; baby sister, Betty Lou; and her true love, Eldon (husband of 59 years); as well as many dear friends and family members who have taken the journey before her... we'r! e so excited for her and we will see her again soon! A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 8, at Edmonds Lutheran Church, 23525 84th Avenue West, Edmonds, Washington. Remembrances in her name may be donated to Edmonds Lutheran Church.

    3. I am trying to get info on my great-uncle Fred Martin Mullins who died October 22, 1975; would like to get an obituary from Renton, or King County area paper. He was a resident of Renton Terrace Nursing Home and died destitute. I know he was a Naval veteran--don’t know exact years—his death certificate says his occupation was “card dealer”. He left home in Georgia at a young age and never returned. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
