Thank You Ron! Hi Ron, I had a wonderful conversation tonight, with a very nice lady named Sharon of Montesano, WA. She is the great-granddaughter of George and Emma Perkins and the granddaughter of Bessie Stevens. Ron, there is absolutely NO WAY I could have done this without you, the information you sent me and some tenacity by a terrific lady named Marlene McGowan, there in Montesano. I took the information you had been sending me and started making calls, sending e-mails and made several trips to the local National Archives and Federal Records Repository, here in Laguna Niguel, CA. On Monday I walked out with scant additional information and called Marlene who had been doggedly tying loose ends together for me. I had Sharon's number within two days. Now I'm hoping to come up with her brother George, born, I assume, in Chehalis County in 1899. While we're at it, any suggestions for a cemetery or how I can send for birth/marriage/death certificates in Washington? This is where the amateur aspect of genealogy fails to garner the much deserved attention it deserves. I wish I were there to shake your hand and I'm sure Sharon feels the same way. Thanks again, Ron. Maybe sometime I can return the favor. Take Care, Kevin O'Brien Laguna Hills, CA
