Hi: Do you want your family history to contain more than names and dates, facts and figures? You can find out how to effectively capture the memories of family members during a three-day oral history workshop Sept. 6, 7 and 8 at McMenamin's Kennedy School in Portland. Teaching the workshop is Charles Morrissey, a former president of the national Oral History Association and oral history consultant for the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. The workshop is sponsored by members of the nonprofit Association of Personal Historians. The cost to attend increases after July 31st so I thought I'd let people know now in case they want to sign up. If you'd like more information, please contact Paula Slavens at paulasl@teleport.com Thanks, Julie Zander
