His daughter, my grandmother, Josie Hayes,Burt, married Clark Smith. My ggrandfather,Edward L. Smith married to Anna King Smith lived on the Satsop river, near the bridge. I have found only 3 descendants of the Smith's-- Allen Witner married my Aunt, Nina Burt Smith and his family lived in the Elma Area. They had no children, but I have a few pictures that I would like to share of Allen's father and uncle. The Valentine family and the Crass family married into the Hayes family and I would like to correspond with anyone in those lines. I have been doing our family history for some years, and would like to make new contacts. I have information to share. Thank you, Shirley
