I've lived this area all my life and the only Palmers I knew of for an Elma, Grays Harbor, address was a park ranger for several years. I don't remember how long after I graduated from the school at Matlock in 1964 that he passed away. And now I'm 'stumbling' for a name as I know this Palmer's nickname was Doc, I think. A tad bit more info if this is your person. It's difficult to pinpoint people from the past because of the way the mail route is set up. Elma addys go clear to Matlock, but they are in Mason County and have Shelton phones.
