I believe that he was the son of Benjamin YOUNGS and Sarah Maria GUSTIN of Sussex County, NJ, although I have no proof. I am fairly sure that William had a brother named Joseph or some name that would be shortened to "Jo" in a letter. William died in 1906 in Washington State probably in Montesano. He was listed in the 1900 census and his widow is also listed in the 1910 census, both sets of data for Montesano. William was married to a lady named "Hattie" MORGAN abt 1883. According to family lore her sister's name was Alice and married to a Mr. Chalmers. Alice Chalmers is shown in Montesano as a widow in the 1900 census with my Grandfather Benjamin Lyman Youngs, (b:Port Blakely, Kitsap Co. WA on 22 Aug 1885), living with her as a "boarder." William had four children; My Grandfather Benjamin and one other boy named Lavern and the two girls named Mary and Ramona. Any information on William or any of his family would be greatly appreciated.
