    3. I am looking for information about Isaiah Smith, his family, or ancestors. He died Jan 20, 1916 in Satsop Washington. My great-grandfather was his brother, Cap F E Smith. The following is from his obituary clipping. "After a career of any years in command of vessels in the Pacific Coast trade, Captain Isaiah Smith, one of the best-known shipmasters in the Northwest, died at his home in Satsop, Washington., January 20, 1916. He had retired from active service about a year ago. He was buried beside the body of his wife in Montesano. Captain Smith leaves a borther, Captain F.E. Smith of St. Johns, Or., and eight children as follows: Mrs. H. E. French, 263 Russell Street, Portland; Mrs. J. A. Ruffner, McIntosh, Wash.; Captain E. C. Smith, Aberdeen, Wash.; I. E. Smith, Satsop, Wash.; Captain W. D. Smith, Aberdeen, Wash.; Mrs. Mary Gidley, Bisbee, Ariz.; F. A. Smith, Aberdeen, Wash., and J. H. Smith, Hoquiam, Wash."
