Hi Bob: The 1880 Federal Census for Gray's Harbor County is in the permanent collection of the FHC in Elma. But he would be12, and his father may not have family included if no child under 10. It was about 1910-1912 when name of county changed. Others could supply exact date. He is probably too old for SSDI. County land records may give insight, and historical museums in Monte and McCleary may be of help. What about 1900, 1910 and 1920 census? Jim Pearson pearson@rio.com
