They were Mary and Allore. Bessie was born in 1888 in Michigan, the daughter of Dr. George Woodard and Ethel Bolton. She had a sister, Ruth Woodard (Mrs.Earl) Hastings who was living in Chicago in 1910 and was born in 1892. Dr. Woodard was born in New York as were his parents, Richard (Robert) Woodard and Amanda. He was practicing in Brutus, Emmit County, Michigan in 1892 and was living in Fife Lake, Grand Traverse County, with his parents in 1880. He was twenty years old and attending school. Bessie Woodard Sampson was raised by her great Aunt and Uncle, Alex and Mary Jane Campbell and lived in Kalkaska County, Michigan while growing up. Ruth Woodard Hastings had a son Clyde Hastings born in Chicago in 1910. Some of the Woodard relatives, I believe, lived in Charlevoix or Cheboygan Counties. They also moved to Aberdeen around 1910.
